What is Data Portability?
Data Portability is Axlaas's commitment to ensuring you have full ownership and control over your organization data. Whether you need a one-time backup, a complete platform migration, or real-time bi-directional sync, Axlaas provides the tools.
Four Modes of Data Portability
Data Export
One-time full snapshot of your data in JSON or CSV format. Use for backups, compliance, or initial migration.
Migration
Structured offboarding workflow with parallel-run period. Webhook forwarding keeps your new system in sync during transition.
API Access / Sovereignty
Host your frontend externally while continuing to use Axlaas APIs. Full REST API access to query and mutate data.
Data Sync
Bi-directional sync with external systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, or custom CRMs. Real-time event forwarding.
Where to Access Data Portability
Navigate to Settings → Data Portability in your Axlaas dashboard. You must be an Organization Admin or Owner.
Key Principles
Your data remains untouched
Exporting or migrating never modifies or deletes your data on Axlaas. You continue using the platform normally during any export or migration process.
No lock-in, ever
You can export 100% of your data at any time, in standard formats (JSON or CSV). No proprietary formats, no partial exports.
Admin-only access
Only Organization Admins and Owners can initiate exports, migrations, or configure API access. All actions are logged in Audit Logs.
Checksum verification
Every export includes a SHA-256 checksum to verify data integrity after download.
